Donna Loren was the one-and-only "Dr Pepper Girl" from 1963 to 1968. She was signed to a long-term contract with the soft-drink company to sing all television and radio commercials, do all magazine and billboard advertising representing them in every capacity, sometimes sharing the spotlight with American Bandstands Dick Clark. This relationship led to her touring in Dick Clarks Caravan of Stars with other popular acts like The Supremes and singing solos in the popular Beach Party films starring Annette Funicello and Frankie Avalon. Later, she became the starring female vocalist on the popular 60's American live rock n roll TV show "Shindig" as well as appearing in various singing and acting roles in popular TV shows like Batman, Gomer Pyle, The Mothers-In-Law, Red Skelton, Milton Berle. This commercial was one of the first of many filmed in Chicago by Grant Advertising. Dr Pepper's ad agency chose to place the product in five of the iconic Beach Party movies which gave Donna an opportunity to be seen in those films, helping her to rocket to stardom. Ironically one of the songs Donna recorded on Capitol Records called "So, Do the Zonk", is carried over as a theme in the Dr Pepper commercials as the animated character always exclaiming ZONK! Her years with the company posted Dr Pepper's largest sales gains in their history to that time. Donna has released over 22 singles, an LP and 2 CD's. In Spring 2010 she released her first new music in decades. The CD is entitled "Love It Away" and can be downloaded or heard at http://www.DonnaLoren.net, ITunes and Amazon. @amuslima99 Actually, I saw the Mickey Mouse Club in its original airing. (I did not say where I was when I saw it, LOLOLOLOL).
Take care.

@Juliaflo LOL, the only way I can figure it depends on if you viewed the first run episodes or when the Mickey Mouse Club was shown on TV years later in syndication. Either way, I bet I'm closer to your age than you think.

@amuslima99 I saw her on The Mickey Mouse Club on Talent Roundup Day; she was going under her birth name, Donna Zukor.
(Don't figure out my age, LOLOLOLOL).

Yeah, Donna Loren was the "It" girl of the 60s. I see she was on the "Monkees" and I know she was on Gomer Pyle. One of those episodes where Gomer went to the home of one of his army buddies. Loren was the "little sister".

She is just too georgous! She's got that big beautiful spirited Lena Horne smile with those dramatic Diana Ross eyes, just truly beautiful...

Man, she is beautiful - I loved her in the Beach Party movies - and her "10 Good Reasons" is one of my favorite songs!
