Brandon Phillips made some unflattering comments about the Cardinals back in August so Cardinals fans let him hear about it on his first trip back to St. Louis, September 3, 2010. Phillips went 0-4 in the game.

@jimtalife365 winning first place got the reds what exactly? You still have ZERO playoff wins in the past oh what, 15 or 20 years, right??? You keep your 2010 Central Division Championship. No one outside of the reds organization will ever remember it (except the Phils fans since their pitcher no-hit you in game one) and Cardinals fans will keep our 7 playoff appearances in the 2000s alone and 10 world championships of all-time.

@vensmash10 Actually, before today's game, you averaged 27,052 a game...10,000 LESS per game than the Cardinals. The reds average attendance is 16th best out of 30 teams in baseball. The Cards are 6th.

Also, please look up when the Reds have had their highest attendance this year. It's the series vs. the Cardinals, and many of those fans ARE Cardinals fans.

The Cardinals were defending themselves against some dumbass punk that doesn't know what the fuck he's talking about. We thought the Reds were a respectable ball team too, you held your own. But when Brandon talked shit for no reason we hated him, not necessarily the Reds in general.
