A comfortable BA flight from Heathrow, on Airmiles. Why does anyone bother with Ryan Air, SAS etc, and you are fed and watered. (Well I had 2 bottles of wine- all included in the price!)
Great hotel, superb food, They certainly know how to do a fantastic breakfast; even come the evening we were still feeling full.
Our upgrade to suite 108, which is above the bar was a bonus except for the boom of the loudspeakers from the bar beneath - take ear plugs. We bought a bottle of Lindemans Reserve Merlot at Heathrow, which went down very nicely in the room. Booze is V expensive in Sweden. I recommend the Bistro Ruby in the Old town (Gamla Stan). The Vasa Museum of the 1628 Ship, the Chinese Terracotta Army exhibition, some amazing shops (why do the continentals seem to do it better than us), the Skansen outdoor museum and zoo, all made for a really pleasant weekend. Oh, and at the weekend the Arlanda Express from the Central station to the airport does a 2 for one deal for around 250 krona single trip.
A really friendly City
@Zarataphs Ok I technically should have been specific and said Scandinavian but I meant the wider non uk area. I am also being harsh on my country as some do it very well , but I have to say scandinavia and the germanic countries of europe do generally seem to do it better

Nice video! It's funny how the British refer to us as continentals. We don't really consider ourselves continental, though we are technically attached to the continent.
