Shimano Team Tribal consultant Steve Renyard explains how he finds features when fishing for carp. Steve talks about swim location, how to find features in large lakes and how, unusually, he uses his Shimano Beast Master spod rod to find features rather than a marker float rod.
In our next video Steve will explain how to mark your lines. This video in its entirety is featured on the Shimano Tribal - Guide to carp fishing DVD.

Yeah i would agree with you there. Its worth having two different types of leads to use. One that collects weed, so you can see if the weed is fresh or decaying etc and one that doesnt ... So if you are fishing in a spot that you know there is alot of weed then you dont want to be hauling in a big bunch of weed around your lead everytime. Hope that helps :)

isnt it also tho on another note a good idea to use leads that collect the bottom?.... as you can check what weed it may have collected and all sorts rather than bring in a clean lead.
