brother, I was a bit overzealous with the "lost your mind" statement. My apology. I do believe Marcus has some work to do however, and would be better suited as a college player to develop some things. Another year of maturity sure can't hurt. Also, he gets to play one more year with his best friend Forte, and is going to be on of the more highly publicized player in the D1 level. This team will be heavily watched because of him. Watch for Smart and Clark to be on the floor together. Peace

part of why I am so pissed is he was the only guy I was really looking forward to seeing play in the NBA next year, I am a huge fan of his and I dont want to see him burried on a bench, just picture him starting for the Magic, damn too bad that aint happening now

a potential first pick to late a lottery pick or outside the lottery, I havent lost my mind sure he needs more development but he will regret not leaving early when he is rididng the pine on a playoff team instead of being an immediate starter

U have lost your mind. Smart is a stud both mentally and physically. Great kid and will be there next year. Not a stupid decision unless you are so narcissitic you can't imagine not taking the money and run. Great decision for this young guy who will STILL be a top pick and get the money and most likely end up with a team he can grow with and whom he will eventually lead because this guy is a man amongst men.He will be a lottery pick next year..

Lol you obviously don't watch basketball if you think he's a bust. He missed 26 games and also remember injuries =/= busts. A bust is someone picked earlier than they should be that ends up being a wasted pick. Beal has not been, averages 14 ppg as a 19 year old rookie with the smoothest jumper in the league.
