The Mutz Nutz - Take The Pain Away

In Memory of Robert Eeles who sadly passed away on the 21/10/2011. He was a very close dear friend and a truly fantastic guitarist.

Take The Pain Away was written by myself and Robert Eeles back in 1998. The following year we got to record it in a studio for a demo tape and what you are listening to here is very much the result from back in 1999 though not the master.

The band had gone through many line up changes over the years it was together, and also through many different names. This particular line up was the last of the bands line ups before quitting, and went under the name of The Mutz Nutz.

Though the band mostly very much played covers, we did do quite a few of our own compositions. Unfortunately Take The Pain Away was the only recording of our own compositions that got to be done in a studio, along with 3 other cover tracks for the demo tape.

Thanks so much Brian for your kind words on this one. He was such a good friend and like a brother to me in many ways, and such a great guitarist. Indeed he is without doubt a great loss to me, and of coarse his family, who very much loved him as well.

@SuperDazzlin My deepest sympathy and thoughts are very much with you Bonnie upon this truly tragic loss. Life is without any doubt cruel and Robbo certainly had a lot more to give out of it, I feel he was very much cheated out of his fair share of it. I sincerely hope and pray he is at peace with his dad up there in that big blue sky. They can take many things away from us in this world, but one thing they cannot touch is our memories, they will always be with us forever.
