I watched you present this in July/August 2010 @ UBC. I've been teaching K/1/2 for only a year and a bit now.... I've sent this link to many other co-workers who have YEARS of teaching experience. I find this poem extremely inspirational! It helps to ground me -to CONSTANTLY remember that every child is different and deserves unique expectations. If we just open up opportunities for students they can flood and overwhelm us with amazing ideas and open their heart and soul. THANK YOU!

I was one of the people who took this course and on that day, I was listening to Francis recite this. He had us completely spellbound...I have my own class now and I hope to be part of at least one student's life who goes on to be as talented as you!
