I agree.

Anime is animation. In Japan, anime does NOT just mean animation from Japan; it means animation from anywhere around the world, including what Americans call 'cartoons'.

In America, anime means... animation from Japan. Which would be cartoons. Even America has mature cartoons, just in lesser amounts, and often on the comedy side. Animes are cartoons.

That aside, I like this anime. I should watch more of it (didn't get very far, but liked what I watched).

LOL at the people who think that anime isn't a cartoon genre. Anime is just a Japanese translation for animation just like how manga is Japanese for comic book.

You might as well say Ghibli Studio's works such as Spirited Away isn't anime because it doesn't have the typical anime look hell, why not say the samething about 70's Tatsunoko animes or titles from Osamu Tezuka himself.

i dreamt of a mapletory series and it went up 2 like 20 seasons.I dreamnt of it neing a combination of Lucky star,Shakugan no shana ,Shugo Chara,Clannad,and all that good anime.
