  • Great tip! Thanks

  • all my layers r converted to Smart Object but if I import file, file is jist as psd not psd_in_FCP. What I do wrong. PSD by it self dont work like in tutorial. Thank U

  • @russtafa Final Cut Pro can't read vector graphics from Illustrator

  • Great tutorial! I plan on using this a lot.

I do have two question for you or anyone else.

Why did you rasterized your box layer?

Why did you reset the distortion?

Thanks in advance and keep these tutorials coming!!!

  • You said "ow" instead of "how" in the description. :)

  • Yes using Photoshop is great.

I am still trying to work through the "power" of Photoshop vs. Motion in any given circumstance. It would be useful to see how you could use Illustrator with Photoshop "smart objects" to then bring that useful art in to FC Pro. One useful aspect is in Illustrator it is easy to draw stuff like spirals etc, but you cannot do that in Motion easily so you can create some great looking visual elements outside of Final Cut Studio and then bring it in.

  • My PSD look out of aspect ratio in Final Cut Studio, even if i reset the distortion, i'm working on a Full HD video (1920x1080) and the PSD is 1920 x 1080 pixel.. but when i'll import it it looks larger and shorter... why ??

  • great tidbit. thanks.

  • Cool, I used to just convert to a PNG.
