@GianniStunato You would be surprised. Check out veganbodybuilding com. There is a lot of misinformation about plant based diets out there.
-
@Ultraspontane I guess it would be for me to be a vegan and a bodybuilder. My trainer and former bodybuilder himself, always talks about how hard it is to do this but that is our way of looking at it..
-
@GianniStunato The discipline? Its no harder on a plant based diet than it would be on an omni diet. Many elite level athletes are/were vegan. It is not a hinderance in any way. Just ask Carl Lewis.

The discipline it takes to do this as a vegan is staggering! I commend anyone who can do this!
-
@WildlifeSeriaLKiller, Well at least you tried. I'm sure you're still leagues ahead of the average consumer who has a standard western food consumer. Still good luck with your training.
-
@LloydChristmas777 I tried it. didn't last....lol. I just can't do it. Raw foods, yes. Raw vegan, no.
-
@mrbuster1964, That's correct. Ignorant people don't like facts.

@WildlifeSeriaLKiller, Yeah, the roided guys are much stronger no doubt; natural athletes in general can't compete with them no matter the sport. I just appreciate a natural athlete more. Unfortunately PEDs have contaminated sports for a long time.
Good luck with your raw vegan diet and keeping/gaining mass. I'm sure there are vegan athletes that can help you with that.
There is a misconception that health corroborates with mass, when in fact, huge steroid guys a) get sick as often as most people do. b) have a SHORTER life expectancy than typical Americans. c) Get injured more often. Robert is healthier, happier, and stronger than any bodybuilder I've seen. When the bulkheads are dead, the natural bodybuilders live on. So, if your going to dis his size, please reply to my comment with a video OF YOU posing shirtless. If your not, than stop dissing him.

So much negativity here, and a lot of people who know nothing of nutrition bashing veganism. It's apparent that Robert has a build that is more lean and defined by nature. That does not mean that you can not add considerable size on a well planned vegan diet. I applaud and admire Robert for his strong work ethic.
