I am getting one with 3 gigs of ram and 2.1 ghz processor. How much of a difference would that make to your specs.

Thanks tarini84, great video and great replies. I am convinced enough to get a XPS M1530 now with a little customization. On your XPS M1330 it doesn't look that laggy. Nice one. :)

Well thanks for the appreciation. If you looking for gaming then the XPS M1530 is the best one available at a cheaper price. I wonder how my Xps M1330 churns out so much powr from the mere Nvidia 8400 M GS that I have completed many resource hungry games like Assasins Creed, Lost planet extreme conditions, Mass effect, World in conflict, Gears of war & many more. It Rocks...!!!

If you are looking for gaming. Then M1530 would perform way better in gaing than M1330. No matter how much you increase your ram & processor in M1330. But the Nvidia 8400m gs is the bottleneck & there is no comparison with M1530's 8600Gt card. But 1530 is bigger & heavier. So your choice.

3 Gigs wont make much difference as it kinda gets optimized after putting 2.5 gb ram. even if you put 4 gb no use. So stick to 3 gb only. The 2.1 ghz processor is what will make difference. Mine is much slower 1.5 ghz. But it wont improve gaming performance. It will improve multitasking speed, startup , shutdown times & faster application processing. For gaming your GPU is the bottleneck !
