Iranian Army Military Parade IIGF Impersial Guard Shah 1979

This is the Iranian Imperial Guard (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iranian_Imperial_Guard) during a military parade in the winter of 1979 at the Lavizan Barracks in northern Tehran, the two generals viewing the parade were later executed. R.I.P General Ali Neshat.

Some of these soldiers had participated in the Dhofar rebellion in Oman.

Since I uploaded this clip, there has been many that have support either the current regime that came after the revolution of 1979, and many that still support the old regime of the monarchy. My own view is more impartial, and Im quite suprised that not one person has said anything about both these governments having problems, none of them are perfect, both have their positives & negatives, but what I would state is the governments of the western world now would sure prefer the Shah, rather than Ahmadinejad.
