Another boring ass video shot from a calculator.

@scorpionruf Another person who's seen lots of other idiots with no clue commenting on every video on youtube of a car on antilag. "It'll fuck the turbo" "antilag is no good for turbos" wank wank. These systems have been around for donkeys years and get the desired effect of building boost early. They don't install it and think to themselves, oh but it'll cause damage to the turbo eventually, better not use it! Get a fucking clue and stop following all the other sheeps pointing out the obvious

@evlrna Apperently BMW has an I6 turbo diesel with two different size turbos for compensating for lag, one low end and then both for high end when the larger turbo spools up.
-
@justinnismo240 You are thoroughly confused. Look at the name ANTI-LAG that means when running it reduces lag all the time there is not two different types, anti-lag builds AND maintains boost. I ran anti-lag on a 4AGTE 67' Corona for months till it was sold and never blew turbo seals and never got pulled up haha. Too many people take what they've seen on the internet for granted. A friend mechanics for a rally team and they DO NOT replace turbos every run, that would be stupid.
-
@evlrna that type of anti lag is not for building boost early its for keeping boost maintained, 2 step and launch control are the ones for building launch boost, and yes having it turned up like that is very very bad for the turbos, wrc cars go through turbos every run because the anti lag destroys them, basicly there is no need to have it unless its a full on rally car as turned up it will ruin your turbo and turned down will just get you pulled over by every single cop that sees you

quite a bit of black smoke , is that normal.

wat kind of rims r those ?

no, not on a v6 with independant banks, I`m talking an I6. You have two different size turbos, one to spool up very fast and be able to spin at high RPMs, and a larger one to spool up at a higher RPM, simalar as sequential but on a paralell intake system, not a series system. Indipendant turbo control so that one may be shut off or both can be shut off. This is more like a `twin spool set up on a gas turbine engine. each turbo will run at its optimum, low and high rpm power demands.

@Metromechanic What did you want to know? I'm no mechanic, but have learnt a bit over the years working on my cars. Probably better to send me a private message than clogging up this guys video with idle chit chat.
