I treasure Love and Beauty in music and Georgi Cherkin provides both in this masterful performance with an orchestra totally reflecting Rachmaninoff's sweeping grandeur. Even though the videos are cut short I am still thankful that in this 21st century we have YouTube allowing us to bring the concert hall into our homes and delighting our sensorial pleasures at our leisure.
