Oprah's religion

A Biblical look at what Oprah says about Jesus. The Idea of putting Jesus in with other religons, just dosn't work at all. He is unique, stands alone as the one who came back from the dead to show us the way. He can be trusted, we can put our faith in him and him alone. To place part of our faith anywhere else would undermine the salvation he grants us through faith in what he has done on the cross. Oprah's Church Leads to Hell.

Our environment determines most of who we are. If someone beats and rapes you as a child, you're a hell of a lot more likely to be turn into a monster. If you're born into a loving, caring home, you're a lot more likely to be loving and caring. Why, then, would someone either be punished or rewarded for an eternity for what they do in a world that is unjust and unequal? If you are born on an island where no one knows of Jesus, are you doomed to hell? How do you reconcile these things?

@DevonWhorton Thanks for the comment, There are some concepts to consider, First by your statements you have shown that you admit that there is right and wrong behavior. So what standard should we use to determine right and wrong? All of man kind has a conscience, we are born with it, its a mystery, that poinst to the fact that we come from a moral creator, did this creator reveal his moral code to us? If so then we are going to be called into accountablity for our actions.

Devon...The next thing to consider is, are we fallen like the bible says? another way to look at this is, are we prone to do evil more so then good? This may seem unfair, but if we are born in sin as the bible states, then whether God saves us or not, has nothing to do with him being just. In other words the fact that he saves anyone displays his mercy.

@obviouslyso The fact the God didn't kill Adam and Eve for eating the fruit shows God's grace, not that the serpent was telling the truth. Read Genesis again with the purpose to see the truth. The negative consiquences that happen, show the serpent to be an enemy of truth. He is the father of lies...peace

The difference between us is that I have absolutely no fear. You represent the religious way of thinking, with Christians and Islamists alike. You people live in such fear of the end times, of going to hell, of judgement - and that is just to name a few. I have found that the people who are most evolved worry little and do not foist their way upon others. On the other hand, I have observed that those who are young souls gripped with fear and love to push their way on others.

The fear and anxieties that I speak of are judgement, hell, condemnation, eternal separation from God - all the control propaganda that religions use on their followers. Those things have absolutely NO effect on me. That's because I know myself, thus I know God. You cannot even begin to imagine what I am speaking of because you are not there at this time. If you are a mess inside, being saved 1000 times will not help.

@truth4U2C The fact that God did not sterilize them or didn't allow their children to be born free of the original sin shows that the mainstream doctrines are deeply flawed.
