kevin, you don't need to change. the world needs to change.

Why do you want to change? Are you a Christian?

@7ees Where did you get your degree in psychology? Emotions and logic are not per se opposite forces. They can work together nicely, you should try it! It feels good and shows results!

@7ees In my opinion you ar4e talking nonsense. Being gay is not a choice, you can hide it, but you can not change it. That is the only logical thing to say. And if you can't change it, what every decent psychiatrist and psychologist will confirm, then you have to accept the fact that you are who you are, gay, straight, bi or t.g... It is a fact of life and fighting that is illogical and useless.

In my opinion, you wanted to be straight back then because you were thinking rationally.
But now, you don't mind being "gay" because there are emotions involved in the equation.
Emotions and logic are two opposite forces, by the way.
It's up to you. Do you want Logic to rule you, or do you want emotions to control your life?

@7ees In the past I would have answered YES! But now I know there is nothing wrong with me or my sexual orientation. So I'm happy with the way my life turned out. Why would I not be? Of course life is easier as a straight person, but that is because of al the prejudice and condemnation of straight people. So my question to you is: Why can't people just let me be a happy gay?
-
why is being straight suppose to bring Happiness? there are millions
of miserable straights in this world. Homophobia is the problem! not
Homosexuality.
-
Wouldn't you rather be a happy heterosexual?
-
There is no treatment or cure for gays... for a simple reason...there is nothing wrong with gays. We are not ill, not mentally deficient. All we are is different from the majority. But being different is not a crime or a disorder!

Thanks for speaking your truth. Seriously. I'm sure it isn't easy.

Jesus doesn't work because he is a mythological figure based off of Mesopotamian theology of an ancient archaic religion. Jesus loves you is no more significant than mickey mouse loves you.

Teraphies don't work. only Jesus works ^^ Jesus loves you.

just because it didnt work out for you it doesnt mean it doesnt work out for other people, you wont get anywere just by uploading videos about giving up, I personally believe that the patient doesnt have to merely depend on the therapist, and there a lot of tools out there so you can achieve your goal, and honestly that combination that you mention in the video is not helpful et all

@MegaMambo5 I love how no matter what type of different program or how much time an ex-gay survivor attended they're always met with "oh well you didn't do it right." You're SO right, I was only in therapy with the man who founded the modern exgay movement, I should totally subscribe to your crackpot ideas. Oh please make me straight with your method that no one else knows!

@MegaMambo5 Also the former co-founder of Exodus International actually addresses the idea of "you just didn't do it right" in a video on youtube titled "Exodus Co-Founder: The Inherent Harm In Ex-Gay Programs." I'd provide a link but youtube doens't allow me to post links in comments.

@MegaMambo5 You can "personally believe" whatever you want and nobody fucking cares. You can personally believe the earth is flat or that the known universe is 5000 years and any number of things that have zero scientific backing just like ex-gay programs. Take your intellectual laziness elsewhere.
