friend of mines uncle was part of this. He told me he loved it cause hed been unemployed for years and suddenly he had work, money,(not much but an income at least) and food on the table on a regular basis. something a lot of us just take for granted now.

I remember the Depression and the Dirty 30s. I believe we're headed to another Depression, I hope without the dust this time.

I myself lived through the Great Depression, and it was quite the unusual period in our country's history, one in which I see many parallels with today's current economic situation.
