Quickly and sloppily break a deck into to piles. Then find chosen cards from each half after an AUDIENCE member shuffles them back together.

  • Will the trick work if you do split the deck to Red in one half and Black in the Other

  • It will but you can't let anyone see the halves of the deck because 26 and 26 of a single color is very obvious. You can still do the face up/face down shuffle as long as you keep it to a riffle shuffle. Just be conscious of keeping your hands to cover the face up part so everyone can't see all the cards are a single color as they flip through. At any rate though, I really recommend doing the suits method, it is really not that hard and makes the trick MUCH more deceptive.

  • does the riffle shuffle ruin the Bycicle cards?

  • Not in the slightest. Yes it does do wear on them but pretty much anything you do is going to wear a deck out EVENTUALLY.

  • I COULD make them a lot shorter. However the reason they run as long as they do is because I try to over-explain everything I feel is important. There's no way to tell what parts of a trick people will or won't be confused about so I cover everything in great detail. It does make them longer viewing, but it cuts down on questions.

  • sweet my mom and brother were like what? lol

  • another excellent trick glad i found this channel

  • Thanks! This is a great trick!

Instead of dividing them by suit, I find it more realistic by dividing them by value. One pile has cards with even values and the other has odd values. It takes longer but it's more realistic.
