The thing that bugs me is that they are doing the samething they did with Troy. They take the basic story but change all the characters and events. Mainly I agree with you about no one seems to care about the international thing. I am a big fan and I am offended by this movie. Great Review though man.

actually I wasn't directing my comment at you kinda agreeing with you on the goku thing also he stayed through out most of the series but before the movie I never heard of bumble bee

My first impression after watching the teaser was "Oh no. What have they done?" To say the least, I haven't gotten my hopes up for this movie at this point, but I will wait until the full length trailer is released to see if it's actually worth the price of admission.

Yeah it is like taking away Batman's batemblem. I'm by no means the "patriotic american". I'm all for a little chaos and completly resetting our government system. It doesnt' work. At all. I'm not sure why one woudl be proud of it.

don't get me wrong, i understand what you mean and i totally agree with you on that point.. i just wanted to show my thoughts about the overall "patriotism sheme" that g.i. joe carries around and that i never could get into it because it always seemed so far-fetched for me. but i agree with you on the point that it really is a thing of sadness that filmmakers are afraid to go "the american way" with g.i. joe even though the source material was all about it. it's like taking off batmans batemblem
