  • a hybrid .. that's like .. meh

  • @pcuimac I believe Chevron, or the 7 sisters combined, bought the cars and ordered GM to shred them.

  • Hi powered, high priced road rocket - there is no way I'd ever buy it. Get back to making REAL cars for real people!

Drop the IC engine to sub 15hp and use waste heat from it to heat the cabin.

We loved our Chev Sprint - nothing new under $25k can touch it's milage or low emissions these days. Cars are bigger, heavier, more powerful and pollute way more. Our Toyota Echo is the best of the whole bunch of polluters.

  • "THE CHEVY VOLTS HERE!! THE CHEVY VOLTS HERE!!" "OH MY GOSH THE CHEVY VOLTS HERE!!!" favorite part :)

  • Congrats, Lyle!

  • We could be driving EV-1s since 1999. Now it´s 2010 and they have a car that is nice but consumes much more energy and is to big and weighs to much.

Now I invested in Nissan. Kill SUVs and all that bloody fuel guzzlers.

  • Simple math:

GM was given a $49.5 billion in bailout. Only $6.7B of this was a pure loan, the government (we the taxpayers) purchased 60.8% equity in GM, meanwhile Canada ALSO transferred an additional $9.5 billion to GM, $1.4B was a loan and $8.1B is an equity purchase.

ObaMao put $13.4B MORE aid money as "working capital" to pay back the government loan.

The Treasury Department got $11.7B back from GM's IPO.

GM was NOT bailed out, the UAW Union was.

    bend & spread-em, SUCKER!

  • "What happened to the Honda?" Kid likes Hondas more than Volts, it seems.

  • "What happened to the Honda?" lol She's the only smart one there. The volt is nothing more than another parallel hybrid that happens to have an EV only mode. The LEAF is the only true production level ev. Albeit the EV1 was the first, but it's a bit of a stretch to claim it was "production level". But in the interest of full disclosure, I have a LEAF on order and I work in the hybrid industry.

  • Okay, great, can GM now stop being a communist organization run by America's domestic enemies now please!? Not to mention GE...
