Hard2Beats newest signing is Jessie Malakouti, the 21 year-old up and coming pop sensation from the other side of the pond.
Jessie Malakouti has already established herself as the new teen queen of the US after her hit Trash Me was featured on an episode of the teenage reality TV show The Hills, leading to her being nominated as Artist of the Week on the Hills website. She began her career performing with Hip-Hop groups around the US and dancing in videos with Nick Cannon and Pink.
Jessie has teamed up with the UK hit making production house Xenomania, responsible for some of the UKs biggest selling pop acts including, Girls Aloud, Sugababes, Gabriella Cilmi and new female duo Mini Viva. It seems like the Malakouti bug is spreading fast after Jessies sparkling performance supporting The Saturdays during their UK summer tour!
Standing Up for the Lonely is Jessies debut single for the UK and has been described by Popjustice as, a defiant modern disco record with a slightly mournful, triumph-over-adversity element. Expect this track to be at Autumn highlight!
