Dan Peek/America Lonely People July 24,2011

Was it fate...or Gods way of saying it was time to come home?
This was the song we did at church on a Sunday afternoon
before Dan said good-bye to us.
It's just sad that he never got to see it:(
I suggested we do the song...we practiced it a couple of times and even though the harmonica lead is not exact the meaning is still there.
Rest in heavenly peace Dan,
I'll never let go of what you meant to me,
You were a great friend and I'll never forget the words you left for me to remember.
Utill we meet again down the highway in the sky...

hmmm there must be something confusing in the description.

This is NOT Dan in the video...but thanks;)

and singer Jeff says "Thanks for the compliment that you thought it was Dan"

He also apologizes that the harmonic lead is not exact..but we did it on a spur of the moment with virtually no practice before hand.

I myself loved Dan and I'm so glad the last song we did at church was one of his;)
