@SthealthRaider yeah, generally if your not wearing proper clothing while welding and you feel a warm spot 9 times outta 10 your on fire.. Or your socks catching a flash fire
Welding isn't dangerous if you don't fool around... one day i was welding in a hot sunny day. i was chipping the slag of. I moved my hand over my leg because something was itching. and it was verry hot. i think it was the sun. but when i took off my mask it was burning O.o
Thanks for the vid!! I learned something new I can't wait to try. Myself, i found 6013 to be the easiest to start and arc with, (1/8 rod at 140 amps DECP). My problem is 6011. I can't get that to start no matter what I do. Different amp settings, ac or dc. nothing works. even on a rare occasion when I get one to start it will just stop right in the middle of the weld puddle. Either way it's good fun. Can't wait to get out to the garage and try some more. Thanks again!!
