This is an encounter I had last week in Pismo Beach with two very nice young men named Shawn and Spencer. The video footage had to be edited down - there is more footage. If you would like to see the entire interview go to my Godtube page.

@4Given7x70 I'm not here to argue too. God is a God of order. There is only 1 way for sinners to enter into the kingdom of God, they must believe the gospel of Jesus Christ. They must turn from unbelief to belief, and so, from death unto life eternal. If we say we believe (Rom. 6, 2Tim. 2:19) we are called to be holy as He is holy. We do not call unbelievers to be holy, we call them into the kingdom of God by believing the gospel. The 1 sin that God will not forgive is unbelief in Jesus Christ.

@Kaohelo3 Please read Romans 6, 2Timothy 2:19 and 1 Thessalonians 4:7-8 (then back to v. 6)
For a better understanding also read: Isaiah 59 1-2 and Psalm 51:6. For to see that our iniquities separate us from God- no matter what state we're in. (Old or New covenant, or the "heathen" state) and also that God demands truth on the inward parts.
Repentance means turning "from sin" then "to God". Again I do not wish to argue. That is way I'm only stating the scriptures.

@4Given7x70 What Christ is saying in Luke 13:3 is that if they, the Hebrews, would not turn to Him (Repent), they would all likewise perish. Then He goes on and gives a parable of the unfruitful fig tree in verse 6-9. The fig tree represents Israel, who rejects they're Messiah, therefore it becomes unfruitful and is cut down. If they were to repent and receive Him, they would be fruitful and escape His judgment. He does not instruct them to turn from sin but to turn to Him.

But you have added to the gospel of Jesus Christ the bible does NOT tell us we HAVE To REPENT of SINS to be saved. He said to believe on the one that was sent. you said repent of sins and then you said that ment to turn God never told us to forsake all sins before coming to faith in the Gospel. Repent just means to turn. So if I am walking off a cliff I would repent and go the other direction. In a biblical since I would Turn from my unbelief in the blood that was shed and believe. Godbless
