Watch me paint a DUST: Tactics Miniature and maybe find out if it's worth the effort for You.

These Videos are basically aimed at people who bought DUST: Tactics and want to find out if painting the Minis (or Painting in general) is an option for them, or a waste of money and time. I'll happily go into any details, just ask me.

I'm going to focus on quick techniques and leave You with some options, so You can decide how much time You want to invest.

This is my first foray into Video editing, so bear with me as I'm learning the tricks ; ) (painting in front of a camera-setup is quite difficult!)

  • Hi! I would like to ask what is the equivalent color for Flames of War Green Grey to Vallejo Model/Game Color? I also would like to ask if you can post a separate painting tutorial for Axis forces. Thanks for this. :D

  • @sonajxsonaj

For Model Color it's "Green Grey 70.886". Axis tutorial as soon as I find the time. Glad You liked it ; )

    Cheers!

  • Hey dude. I was thinking of picking up a few Dust minis for use in 40k. So I'm curious in regards to their pre-assembly. How hard would it be to cut the arms/head off and to remove the miniature from it's base?

  • @stennert

    Hi there,

that would not be a problem. Most of the Parts are "plugged in" anyway (waist, arms), and the Bases are of the plug and hole type, I think. High conversion factor !

    Cheers!

  • Hi,

Can you please post list of paint from Citadel you used. I have to buy them from ebay.

    Thanks.

  • @GLOBALHAWKsimpit

    Will do, when time permits.

But I second Awesome2482's post, go for Vallejo instead. There are conversion tables on the net.

    Cheers!

    Hey there,

the Mini You see in the Video is 32 mm without Base, and 36 mm with Base. Mind, that the guy is slightly bend forward, so if he was standing straight, he would be about 35 mm without base.

    Cheers!

  • @chuckylikepaintball

Thanks! A Battle Report would be cool, but don't hold your breath...; )
