@KaitlinMurphy98 I wouldn't try it i'm afraid she won't get used to it, think you first need a normal dog collar and a leash and after that is accepted you could try a head halter with my border collie/pitbull mix it did not work, she pulled even when using it.

I have a Chow Chow and she is VERY strong and she is not used to walking i got her from a guy that kept her on a chain her whole life so she likes to sniff and i don't know if this would help her?

they do work great. i walk 5 dogs at a time and they all use the halti. 3 pitbulls 1 maltese, 1 mini doxie. U have to adjust them rite but they work great. no pulling, just lift the head when dog pulls. as with any training consistence is the key. I like them so much better than a collar =)
