the studio version has falsetto too... i think its really her style in singing this song.. =)

Falsetto is a vocal embellishment and used to put dynamics in a song thus convey emotions. Regine used it for dynamics and not because she can't belt it. It was intentional guys. She also created that suspense when she did that because people are waiting for that belt and was left hanging when she didn't belt it out until the end.

Adele is known to use falsetto in her songs but she can belt if she chooses to.

If the audio quality of the other Regine versions of this song, including that at the Asia Pacifc Singing Contest, renders accurately the proper key at which she sang this song, then when you listen again, and compare the key of this song, for the non-tone deaf, you will see that this key is the highest regine ever sang that's recorded on You-tube. She used falsetto very well here, made it sound effortless on this laidback weekend afternoon show. The show's atmospehere did not need overgestures.

@Angelus13531 Regine had many offers in the past. And she has answered this question several times already. Regine is a top diva of her country. She's very happy with how her career is going in the Philippines. It did cross her mind to venture out in the US, but she figured that she has so much to sacrifice if she leaves the Philippines, and she gets homesick every time she's away even for just a few weeks. Not every artist dreams of a career in the US.

A lot of people love her singing and she has inspired a lot of singers that came after her as well. Have some respect. No singer is everyone's favorite singer. If you do not like her singing, then don't listen to her. She's not singing for you anyway, but for those who love to hear her sing. Be nice.
