I thought this was a great addition to the Suikoden Series, and found the Trinity system to be a nice story mechanic. Even though there is a little bit of redundancy when you go through some of the same scenes a few times, it is different based upon the point of view of the characters you're playing at the time and the impact it had upon them.

THEY GREATEST GAME EVER it slowly creeps on the epicness of Romance of the Three Kingdoms but This game just so kick ass Screw all that hate on this game because The intro alone shows the true value of the Game an EPIC and I do mean EPIC tale and just so kick ass

Favorite intro of all time. It gets me every time I see it. 2 is my favorite Suikoden game, but this was a great one too. The Duck people need to come back. They were so cool, much better than the cats in IV.

Best opening ever, but best Suikoden is the second.
