I've had mine for 3 yrs and I think it's finally dying.. :( Mostly good, but the more you use it, the more the bad qualities stick out. The software, Creative Centrale, is terrible... crashes a lot, doesn't change file names when you want it to, transfers incorrect file names to the player... if I'd had the time, Creative would've gotten a nasty letter of complaint about that software. But once you got used to it, the player's buttons weren't a problem, and it was a fun little companion. RIP!

I have one of these (16 GB). I have no issues with sound or volume (although I replaced the original headphones so that may be why?). It's also really easy to transfer music onto and off of the player(I only use mine for music).

On the bad side it has a known issue with stuttering on tracks (a software update was meant to fix this but it made no difference on mine) my mosaic is worse for this after adding music or being charged, and switching the player off and on again usually stops it.

I just bought one and i've something to say to all the potential buyers out there : stay away from this mp3 player. The sound quality is terrible (really terrible) and the highest level of the audio volume is still so low that it's often covered by any kind of outside noise.

I'm thinking about picking one of these up as a 2nd/spare player becuase they are really cheap now. How difficult is it to convert/transfer video to?
