  • just had to say ive watched this video many times now, very VERY well done :)

  • Thanks for your further comment. I am afraid to say that this Sor's piece has limited recordings so far.

  • very beautifully played! I am definately going to do this as one of my third grade guitar pieces now. Im certain your video will be a big help for me to learn this song!

  • I am very glad to know that my performance of this Sor's study gives you some positive motivation for your study. Good luck!

  • Really excellent, and I mean the musical interpretation. Your view to go back and play the simpler pieces but more musically is also my own idea. Mike

  • Thank for your comment. I cannot compete with professional guitarists when I play technically difficullt pieces, whereas I may have a chance to play better than them when I play simlpe but musically meaningful pieces like Sor's studies.

  • Hey, Was wondering if you have the tab music for this? I have the notation but am afraid my sight reading isnt the best PLEASE Help <3

  • You are very humble, aren't you ?

It seems to me that you have no technical difficulties, and you can concentrate more to experession of the music. I still have a lot of technical difficulties depending on the pieces. My musical experiences started from chorus for about 10 years. Those days were before I started to play the guitar. I envied my friends who could play the guitar.

  • I agree entirely Lute. But I have yet to master those technicalities!

Confirmation of your thoughts can be found in the fact that Julian Bream's rendition of Sor's Study in Bm is one of the most watched classical guitar videos here on YT.

    A Maestro re-visiting a fairly basic study.

    Well played again sir.

    Paul

  • Thanks for your compliment. This Sor's etude is ths one I played when I started practicing the guitar in a year or so. You can find many beautiful Sor's etudes which is apparently easy to play technically but musically deep.
