  • why has nobody brought up the the occassion on june the 8th 1483, when the evidence of a bishop was brought forward that edward iv had already been married when he married elizabeth woodville and so the children were illegitimate.

  • @secretpigeon I believe that it is given later in evidence.

  • well, they are not a red Herring; afterall, the princes would of course have been found, and it would confirm that they indeed died c.1483-1484.

    that said, I do agree that that the discovery-on its own-doesn't prove Richard III's guilt.

  • If the bones could be proved by DNA to indeed be those of the boys,it still dont prove the guilt of Richard-or anyone else.The bones are a red herring....
