  • As much as I love Les Paul and Mary Ford's original version, The Manhattan Transfer does a magnificant cover of this song. The original artists are most often very pleased when other artists cover their songs, and I'd risk a guess that Les Paul approved!

  • @TheFRiNgEguitars Right you are, Steve. Who appreciates a really good song more than another musician? I don't think anybody does - because a musician knows what it takes to get the sound just right. They've made the song their own. To say one is better than the other is like saying, "Which child do you love most?" We just love them both. Les Paul/Mary Ford was unique. Manhattan Transfer is unique. We're the lucky ones because we get to hear both.
