Review Part 1 of ?? Altec Lansing Back Beat 903 & Jaybird JB-200 Stereo Bluetooth Headphones: A little insight into how the testing is going. I did leave out somethings, but I will add them to the next part. I want to have time to play with them at the gym.

Sorry for the delay, but my birthday and July fourth fall the same time every year. So I was busy celebrating both...LOL. I have found that out too. The buttons are too small and they take a while to press. I have used both so far in NYC on the streets. The Altec ones cut out alot. The Jaybirds not as much, but sometimes. The Jaybirds have the best sound. It is rockin sound. I looked at the specs on both and Jaybirds have a larger freq response than the Altec. So if your an audiophile you will like the JayBirds better. The fit is interesting...I can't comment now as I need to spend more time with them. Since these are personal devices I will be taking my time to review. I do have another raw video I can post. Stay tuned.

  • Thanks for the feedback. I know I need to finish the reviews. These are the first reviews I have ever done. So be patient as I grow into it. LOL But I have to say after using these two for awhile I have stopped using them. I always go back to the wired headsets. I will post a video why in the up coming weeks. all the best, Alan

  • the reason you are not allowed to pause the iphone music is because the iphone doesnt support AVRCP. blackberrys have that bluetooth profile so that feature does work and is supported by the headset

  • @yellojacks3 Thanks for the comment. The iPhone 3GS is suppose to support the protocols. This is a bug. iPhone OS 3.1 is suppose to fix this. I am waiting to get back my extra phone I lent out to a friend so I can test this.

  • Thanks for the comment. The Jaybirds are better soundwise as they cover more frequencies.

  • ammm ammmmm ammmm ammmmm ammmm damn you americans!!

  • how is the audio quality off of the microphones? Can you use these for phone calls in a noisy environment?

  • It's ur rigity iPhone

  • How did the Jaybird work out for you.

  • I couldn't finish watching the whole video your way to speak makes me anxious!

  • The skipping out, was because you had wifi turned on. With my iphone, my A2DP cuts out when the wifi is on and searching for wifi AP.

  • I Absolutely Agree , Except The Sound Quality Is Below Average With No Base ! I Dont Reccomend The Motorola ROKR S9 , But They Sounds Way Better Than That Piece Of Crap By Jay Bird ! I Have Been Looking At The Back Beat Blue Tooth Headset By Plantronics Might Just Get Them ! .... Maybe : )

  • There is no device that has STEREO CALLS, that is why you do not hear phone conversations in both ears, it's not even possible right now. Just an FYI.

  • nYC is full of antennas, electronics and devices, thus interference.

  • The JayBirds are smaller, but have been discontinued, they'll have a new microscopic sized headset available in June
