Michael Crawford sings a transcendent "O Holy Night" -- possibly the best version ever recorded -- on the TV special "David Foster's Christmas Album" (NBC, December 10, 1993). The majestic arrangement (by Jeremy Lubbock & David Foster) starts out softly, then slowly builds to a spine-tingling crescendo, creating an unforgettable and timeless Christmas masterpiece.

100,000 views! Pretty amazing, considering that I had to remove the audio two years ago. I guess lots of you are synching up your CDs with this vid at home. Let's hope that Warner Music Group reaches an agreement with YouTube soon so that I can restore the audio.

I know a lot of people are probably going to hate me for saying but!, I have an iPad although you can use an iPhone, iPod etc... But anyway I synced the song from iTunes to the music video and it's spot on! Everyone with iTunes should try this because it works great!

@CD6494 Lots of people are doing the same thing. That's the main reason I've left this video posted. Even though I had to mute the audio almost 2 years ago, this video has been watched tens of thousands of times since then, all the way through to the end! Many people seem to be doing their own syncing at home.

@alsgal4eternity The song can be purchased on David Foster's Christmas CD and on Michael Crawford's Christmas CD. The video ("David Foster's Christmas Album") has never been released on DVD.

Amazing. I only just found this video and watched it while syncing my copy of the music on iTunes. Worked perfectly. Thanks for posting the video and thanks to all those who suggested syncing. Now we just need to get Warner on board. Merry Christmas to all. Oh, I also have the Trans-Siberian Orchestra DVD with Michael Crawford and that is a truly beautiful thing to watch.

@OceanKingNY Whoever has the chestnuts to remove the audio and not the whole thing does NOT come off like an adult to me. This is something my 13 year old nephew would do. Is there any chance that this stupid audio request removal will be lifted? I just LOVE how Michael does this song and I had hoped to see it and not just hear it.
