This is our most important imitation of the adult Nectopsyche caddis, a critically important species on the Firehole River in June and September. It is also a decent spruce moth imitation. HOOK: short shank dry, #14. THREAD: 6/0 light cahill Uni. UNDERBODY: pale creamy golden olive dubbing blend. OVERBODY/HACKLE: white type IV CDC feather. WING: bleached early season cow elk.
