It is a four string guitar. Why anyone would want one, is beyond me, but I guess it works for her. Especially since she has a bass player to cover the low end and other instruments as well.
speakwhnspkn2: Neko's playing a tenor guitar. In addition to having only 4 strings, as you noted, it's tuned to a different pitch than a standard 6-string guitar. The guitar I was referring to in my discussion with arborsport is a pedal steel guitar. We weren't referring to the guitar Neko's playing but the instrument John Rauhouse is playing (i.e. the pedal steel guitar).
You're right, I retract that statement......Neko actually has an amazing amount of talent and originality to her, whereas Jewel is just a sell-out and a whiny b***
