Yes, we DO want control!

On a recent blog (http://kokonutpundits.blogspot.com/2011/06/death-of-deafread.html) which a commenter (in regard to Deaf people's boycott of DeafRead) sniffed, "I think the word 'control' is what's driving this discussion" (http://kokonutpundits.blogspot.com/2011/06/death-of-deafread.html?showComment=1­309542700158#c5095544152830201571). At first, I was ready to dismiss this commenter's thought, but then I realized she was right, but for the wrong reasons, and I explain why here.

@DeafBirdsEyeNews Yeah. My compression software is set so that it does not record sounds or something, to save space and time. But apparently my computer camera does still have the sound settings set. I changed the microphone setting so it is now turned off. But in any case, this whole thing is a red herring.

lol, my 10 years old was watching this, and say you are wrong(I don't know what part he was talking about, btw) his dog is like his child. I told my son that was your point, he have to understand "dog world" to raise his dog with dignity, respect, and love. I told him "you don't raise your dog as "human" do you?" I told him treating him as human can be inhuman and awful for a dog.

@mynameismynamely It's not censorship, it's presenting a specific point of view. And there are PLENTY of spaces for non-Deafcentric views to be presented, so they can be made wherever you want. And if you want to forget me, go ahead and stop leaving comments on my vlogs!
