putting braids in and taking them out is an all day event.. for myself i don't have that kind of time on my hair so i just split it up into 2 days that way i can still tend to the family and not have my arms fall off!! !! lol

@QTKANIME lol i said the same thing but i put up a video where i put conditioner in and detangle them out and it comes out so much faster.

Thanks 4 posting:) I was wondering how much shead hair is normal for wearing braids, and u answered! But what about when you do extensions? In your opinion do you think that they are not the best option for natural hair? I havent watched all ur vids, but I dont see u wearing weave or extensions.
I have to say that ur hair looks very healthy too

TEDDIEandANGEL- well i won't knock anybody who wants to wear extentions. i wore pinch plates while natural but i won't be doing that again. its just too much money and i don't keep them in long. but the shedding doesn't change.

When I braided my hair like that, I found out that wetting the hair (for some reason or another) helped and made it easier and quicker to take them down. It's like when the hair is wet, it becomes "slick" and allows the parts to "slide" pass one another causing less tangles which mean less detangling in the process. Dunno, maybe it will help you next time.
