Rescued

A hand-drawn journey to another planet. Premiered at the 31st Big Muddy Film Festival. "Rescued" is my second animated movie. Incorporating traditional animation techniques, "Rescued" took roughly a year to complete. Its composed of thousands of original drawings, inked and finally scanned into the computer for final editing. The original soundtrack was composed and conducted by Chris Bolger and Dennis Diken.

Are you using a mouse to draw or one of dem drawing pads?

Neither. I drew the movie on paper and then scanned the sheets.  The coloring was applied in the computer. Thanks for asking.

It's called Butterflies, and it has interviews with six different people who make videos and post them. LisaNova, Olgakay, and a few others. Their stuff is ok. But the doc was fascinating. I sent Dan a note about yer film.
