I love the Fixx, and I try to see them every time they come through my city. The first time I saw them was in 1982 in Fresno, CA. I was totally hooked from the first time I heard them in the early 80s, and I have most of the albums they put out. I can't wait until they come back around again! :)

@fixx1248 They have every year for the past 30 except for the 2 years Cy was selling Women's Hats and Jamie played on the Tina Turner Tour.

Saw them at 1983 Comiskey park...the concert featured Ministry, the Fixx, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, A Flock of Seagulls and the Police. The Police were the best act with this the first show of the Synchronicity tour and after a long hiatus.

It's a REAL shame that they didn't break big in their home country - are they ever going to tour here?

Right on Ken, their music was far more sophisticated than many. I think the Fixx had some of the most innovative melodies and lyrics of any popular band over a 20 year spread. Each of the bandmembers were VERY talented in their craft and me being a guitarist, their guitarist was incredibly creative.

A band whose music never ages. In other words if you were to hear the band for the very first time today you'd think they were just new to the music industry, whereas they are in fact almost 30 years YOUNG!
