I'm not comparing the validity of the biases, I'm comparing the extent to which their respective networks are defined by them.

MSNBC is a news network that has a few hours of liberal programming. Fox News is a right-wing advocacy organization that devotes 24 hours a day to political activism.

Perhaps you could say that specific SHOWS on MSNBC attempt to "counteract" Fox, but the network as a whole does not, and has not intention of doing so.

I was speaking more of the extreme bias both sides present, not the validity of said bias. MSNBC has made a point of trying to be the counteraction to FOX.

i'm sure they realize it. the problem is they care. it stopped being about integrity and is now only about ratings and selling advertising. so instead of presenting unbiased facts they stoop to the mentality of Jerry Springer. then there viewers see it and start acting the same why because those. because the people they are watching for news are supposed to by educated and capable of critical/ analytical thought. but all they really are; are talking heads regurgitating a script.

Glenn Beck didn't convince me to believe shit. It's demonstrably false to call the Nazis right wing. The right on the political spectrum means less government. The Nazis wanted a huge socialist authoritarian government. Saying that somebody is right wing because they are a racist doesn't make any sense. Right-left is purely a socioeconomic scale. It's like saying that eating pie is leftist. It's irrelevant to ones political views.

If you hear such adjectives, it's not "True News with no bias." It's "News with Added Opinions." I've had enough of Fox News fanboys and MSNBC fanboys screaming "We get the truth, you get liberal/conservative propaganda!" It's both filled with opinions.
