"The Soldier" was Iridescent Pictures' entry for the Nashville 48-Hour Film Project (July 15-17, 2011). The film was required to be in the horror genre and include a flower, a driver named Paul Duncan, and the line of dialogue "Tell me how you really feel." The line of dialogue was edited out of this extended version of the film. "The Soldier" was directed by Zach Bales, it was written by Zach Bales, and it was produced by Zach Bales, Kyle Curry, and Eric Whitson.

On a dangerous mission in enemy territory, a sniper wrestles with both his darkest fears and the moral ambiguity of war. Will he make it home alive?

  • @iliketwizzlers The camera was a Canon XH-A1.

  • What kind of camera is used in the opening shots? The close up shot at 0:17 looks great.
