  • I will 100% agree with "environment" being a LARGE factor in regards to eczema. I am from Canada and i struggled with bouts of eczema (sometimes very bad ones) since the age of about, ummmm, 14. Anyway, I moved to Thailand (long story) for a number of years and not ONCE did my eczema bother me! came back to Canada and the battle began once again, needles to say I'm going back to Thailand where I have made many friends and a job teaching English without the nuisance of eczema!!

  • Hey! Thanks for the comment! I'm from Canada as well and man... its tough living here with eczema. I plan on persuing physiotherapy, and once thats done...I'm moving away somewhere NICE!

  • haha hello walter :D i get those seasonal allergies too and i used to take benadryl whereever i go because one time i ate something with osytersauce my lip went all fat! EW LOL i noticed those dryer things seem to mess up my skin so stopped using that and when i would wake up i looked ugly but now i put mittens on to stop me from scratching lol make more videos :) i love that we're all helping each other out :D

  • Yeah man, we gotta beat this thing together. I hope everyone finds a way to keep it under control. My methods seem to be working for me...so I'm sharing them with others. But yeah...what might work for one might not work for the other. So its good to have variety.

I tried the mittens too! LOL! but I'd wake up and theyre half way across the room...soo that didnt work for me lol.

    but yeah. more vids!

  • Thanks for the videos man. You gave me a lot of new stuff to try. Much appreciated.

  • @kilo8001 That's right. I had terrible eczema in New York, which in the winter time it is cold & dry. But when I went back to (I came from Hong Kong when I was a kid)Hong Kong for vacation that 3 weeks, my eczema heals and I noticed that my skin became hydrated & comfortably healthy!

  • i'm a filipino woman and i've battled with excruciating eczema all my life, especially on my face. I live on the east coast, US, and I have eczema 9 months out of the year excluding July, August, and September. I took a vacation to hawaii last in September of this year, and my face and skin was amazing better. I need to move to a tropical area. The beach is really good for eczema. Lots of sun (vitamin D), salt water, and warm, humid climate. Definitely moving to Florida or better, Hawaii!

  • Hi, I am in BC and I am wondering about the affects of my environment. Really, there are so many triggers and different kinds of eczema.. As far as I know, I have no allergies to certain foods or products, I don't even have seasonal allergies, but I think my flare ups (on my face) are triggered by stress, which is really shitty to deal with while I am in university and have to miss classes because I don't want to go out in public. I can relate to your war on eczema, dude.

  • LOL i so agree with u in regards to the food diet ordeal! thanks for these vids! Im currently going through an eczema war with myself LMFAO (i laugh but it blows)

  • Actually, those dryer sheets will help your eczema. I have eczema too. The dryer sheets are meant to take the static electricity from your clothes. Static electricity makes the skin very itchy and makes your eczema worst. If you have a reaction because of those sheets, maybe you should get some without any scent. Artificial scent can also make the skin itchy. I hope it helps.

  • Just for fun: don'ttt move to Australia coz it's very dry here too! :(

My eczema only came up 4 years after I moved to Australia. And when I go somewhere tropical like Asian countries my eczema was gone. hahah.. I think Canada and Australia have similar weather, except maybe in other parts of Australia (like Queensland) are more humid.

  • That is sooo true when i go to Mexico it goes away completely.
