Moni Mambo Jim was one of the few top class Musicians who has lived.Its unfortunate he had to die so early.God likes people who are fair in judgement.I remember his more than 45 hits that were totally unique and extremely entertaining.I can give you a brief list:Martha,Milando,Balula,Tik­a na Lela,Innyo,Ivete,Monde,Sisili,­Ngombele,Diabanza,Moni,Okokate­,Masasu,Melissa,Hadija,Mangeng­e,Feza,Diana,Kanindo,Amba,Twen­de Kulima,and many more.Your soul RIP.

I hear Shika Shiak were a top air waves band in Rwanda. As far as I am concerned moni Mambo was the poorest Congolese artist that will ever live. Maybe I am wrong and he is just an Angolan like it was calimed. If he was white I would easily have pulled the race card for his popularity

Moni Mambo always appeared on stage looking tired and about to doze off. In all moves, he was always a second ahead or behind others. this would always amuse the crowd and he would smile back as he tried to catch up sometimes taking a second or two to see the movements/ dance of the group in the hope of fitting in. And when he joined, he would again miscalculate his step. a great composer, a music veteran. he once told me that Lovy Longomba was the best singer. i couldn't agree more.
