Star Wars The Old Republic is an MMO RPG made by Bioware, published by Electronic Arts (EA). So far the video game has gathered a lot of attention and followers and seemingly most of the publicity is positive. Are World of Warcraft gamers ready for a change because of Cataclysm? We'll have to wait and see.

anyone that enjoyed wow left because they got burnt out..however star wars isn't close to wow people just try it hoping it will bring the joy wow originally did..Its a cool game but its nothing close to wow.

it depends on what you like, Wow and SWTOR has there own unike futures and game play, I like them both, but when I play wow I miss SWTOR gameplay, when I play swtor, I miss WOW's gameplay. They should make a game togther xD.

@KaibaCorporationDTDL It's 8 games. And, it is not that much, since you get 1350 CP each week with the arena cap. It certainly does take time, there is no arguing about that. And I don't care for arena at all actually, it is a pain in the ass because it is so stressful. I do old school content with my guild, it makes me feel refreshed. I also like farming things and pvping on my 6 level 85's, which keep me occupied well enough.

@Kaali974 Also, the arena point system is kind of retarded now. I mean, any noob can get good gear by simply winning 5 games every week. There is no need for 1800 rating to get the "normal" arena gear, and the "good" arena gear is not that much better than the "normal" one, the stats are slightly higher.

WoW use to be fun, but with every expansion it becomes more and more horrible. They keep making the game too easy, there is less and less high level content. Did you even look at the new talent trees, that takes no skill. Blizzard simply has no more ideas left. The last fun WoW raid was Ulduar, after that it all keeps getting more and more boring. I am not even talking about the new races being horrible or any of that, its just the game is not fun.

@KaibaCorporationDTDL I disagree. Yes, wow has it's disadvantages, but I couldn't feel more happy about the changes they're making, and it is simply the only game I will EVER devote myself to. SWTOR is just a passing game, it will fade as fast as rift did. Wow wins.
