  • This is the kind of shit that reminds me: we Americans gave the world rock and roll, but Brits perfected it. They outpaced us at our own game decades ago.

  • This is even today ahead it's time, damn stupid fuc*s those producers who display us this new boring music, why can't this be commercial instead of Madonna or Britney???

  • Not a fan of this outfit though I much prefer the black shirt, black pants(trousers), with the blue and red tie.

  • Thanks for putting this up, i love Billy Curry pouting over the synth, brilliant performence which on Jools Holland Gary said almost didn't happen due to the PA blowing up.

  • he perfected his Bowie mannerisms ok, didn't he? Top tune !

  • Mid to late seventies were great for innovation, experimentation and evaluation: with results. Bands (sorry, kids) that used what little resources they had and produced some of the most memorable tunes. Ever.

  • also a wicked guitar lick.

  • i love the mini moog .analog has a warmer sound than todays digital crap.pual is like a machine playing it

  • So I find out your reason

For the phone calls and smiles

    And it hurts

    And I'm lonely

And I should never have tried

    And I missed you tonight

    So it's time to leave

You see it meant everything to me

  • Like a white lie that night or a slight touch at times touch at times I don't think I meant anything to you So I open the door It's the `friend' that I'd left in the hallway "Please sit down" A candle lit shadow on a wall near the bed You know I hate to ask But, are `friends' electric? You see, mine's broke down And now I've no one to love
  • It's cold outside And the paint's peeling off of my walls There's a man outside In a long coat, grey hat, smoking a cigarette Now the light fades out And I'm wondering what I'm doing in a room like this There's a knock on the door And just for a second I thought I remembered you So now I'm alone Now I can think for myself About little deals and S.U's And things that I just don't understand
  • Nice! The old synths, fat bass and slick looking Gary. The song is still great, can listen to it time after time.
