James Valenti was the tenor in Rigoletto at the Dallas Winspear Opera House in March, 2011. Laura Claycomb is so phenonmenal that singing opposite of her is daunting. There is a YouTube video (I did not record where it is, in which Pavarotti said that if he had to choose a "successor", he thought it would be Vittorio Grigoli & in another he said Florez.
