i dont see it giving power then how it a permanent magnet altenator
why it is called like that
where is the free energy i dont see it
how many amps u got ????
too many questions

A 3 phase induction motor (made in China or made in America) is more economical to convert. All you need are permanent magnets embedded on the rotor. Ferrite or ceramic magnets will do.

@jeffmolly1 Thanks man, your videos are awesome! Couldn't have done this without your info. Keep up the good work!

It was so interesting to watch those 2 instruction videos, as I am building one windmill right now; and I learned a lot from this, avoiding mistakes; but two things were not said, that I was hoping to hear.... how does the diameter of those magnets you replace match, and are all car alternator of the same diameter or size???
And; car alternators are very easy to revolt; are those PMA very hard to revolt, as the magnets are very strong; I hope you would show that by revolting them by your fingers

Some beer and a garage made many a happy man.
I just converted my rotor to a makeshift wooden block with some neo magnets. Im getting over 100v just hand turning it. Did i overkill on the magnets? The amps are off the chart aswell!!

How much power is used or lost if a regular factory rotor is used.
Is it practical to use a factory 200amp GM alternator for a wind generator; if so .....
what size/feet blades would you recommend?
Thanks

@gatekeeper1006 you cannot use a factory rotor.if you do it will have to hit 1200 rpm's to excite the stator and put out power. about 30 mph winds to get that.
