DM&E Local B66 and WSOR T4 in Janesville 2/4/2010

Even though Iowa, Chicago and Eastern Railroad's parent company Dakota, Minneosta and Eastern is now owned by Canadian Pacific, most trains in former IC&E territory still run with the same blue and yellow power.

Here, the local job B66 out of South Beloit, IL makes its morning appearance in Janesville with former Cotton Belt GP40-2 ICE 4209 "City of Mason City."

As they pulled up alongside the roundhouse, the WSOR T4 from Horicon arrived in the yard with 4008 leading both "special" units, 4053 and 4025. Then 4209 pulled ahead and after the WSOR train was clear, shoved back into the west yard to do its switching.

Once their five-car outbound train was assembled, they started back south long-hood forward. They couldn't turn on the wye as they sometimes do because it was occupied by the parked train they are passing under in the last scene.
