ani difranco is a very talented woman, and i don't think she is unamerican at all. i think she is speaking from the heart and i'm sure many americans identify with her. just because it is not your experience or your idea of patriotism doesn't make her wrong or bad

Hey VB, Saying Hello, had to listen to this, hitting the road this week, heading to Texas, lots of state lines to cross lines, In Pennsylvania now, and dam, pulled into a empty Parking garage with my limo last week, snow storm coming down, empty lot about 10 cars, and security police knocked on My limo and told me I could not sleep in my limo there, (a casino garage with no hotel) I know Texas will pull over my limo being they never seen it before to check me out.

Ani's music does not 'empower' anyone or anything except Ani's bank account. She is a very troubled and confused soul, which is probably why damaged people, like yourself, find such relation to her and her music.

good job! i usually only like ani's original work, but i couldnt find her singing this in studio or off a cd, so i decided to check out a cover, well done!

I think that young girls should listen to ani, because shes her own one woman army. Im 15 by the way.
